I have a new M&P9 full size.

Any suggestions on spare parts I should keep in stock in my bag, if any?

Also, any tools I should have for this weapon in my bag?

I already have a "break down" mat that shows the assembly of the M&P.

I'd get a few trigger return springs, a recoil spring and whatever size punch fits those pins.

Do any of you have one of those handgun holders (for lack of a better name) that sits under the weapon when you punch out the pins? You know, so the pins get caught underneath. Is that kind of thing worth buying? How about the pins themselves, anyone keep spares of those?

Thanks,
Rob

I haven't used the Apex tray. But if you buy a hockey puck and drill a hole through it, that works great for less money.

There's also a dogleg wire spring thing in the locking block that will fall out and get lost easily. I've lost about twelve of them. The gun runs fine without it, but the takedown lever will fall out when the slide is off the frame.

The Apex armorer's block works well for the M&Ps, as well as 1911s & Glocks. Worth the money.

That looks like a good product.
