can they be found here in the US?

Yes, they are imported and sold under the Hodgdon brand name. I believe ADI (or perhaps it's Hodgdon) has a list showing the mapping between the differing names.

Hodgdon equivalents maybe?

Thanks guys. The ADI chart is an approximation. Some of the powders are decidedly different and not interchangeable.

That's a burn rate chart. Not the same powders.

Hodgdon's website listing of the MSDS sheets indicates the cross reference listing of the ADI/Thales (ARXXXX) powders to the Hodgdon bottled/imported powders from ADI.

Basically I think all the Extreme powders are rebadged ADI powders.

Thanks again. I was curious about 2218 specifically. Quickload says it is not the same as H50BMG. I think Quickload nearly hung the moon...

The ADI powders are very good and about all I use as I'm an Aussie. The only non ADI powder I currently use is RE19 in my .280. We get temperature ranges from below freezing to over 40 degrees (that's the Celsius scale not Farrenheit). We just load up one load and use it from winter to summer without worrying about pressure spikes due to temperature fluctuations.

The only time I have blown a primer was last year with IMR7828 in my .25-06. I worked up a load the year before at the end of April or early May in the cool Autumn weather. I then shot the load the following summer and blew a primer. To be fair the round that blew did sit in a hot chamber for about a minute which would of warmed it up somewhat before firing but I have done the same with ADI powders without ever coming close to 'loosening' a primer.

The only issue I have with ADI powders is their numbering system. Most ADI powders have a higher number as they get slower. When ADI introduced 2219 a few years ago you'd think it was slower than 2217 (H1000) but it actually sits between Benchmark 1 and Benchmark 2. A better name would have been Benchmark 1.5. Similarly 2207 is actually faster than 2206H though the numbering would indicate it was between 2206H and 2208. But on the whole I think ADI powders are very good.
