One that jumps to mind that I've only ever seen in a store one year is Mosquito Hawk jigs. Little teeny winged rubber jigs you put on a tiny jighead, came in an assortment box with about a dozen colors. They were absolutely murder on crappie around rocks and brush piles.

The original storm wiggle warts go for a pretty penny now too. I have a butt load of them. Smallies crush'em in early spring. They thump.
Ice out Northern largemouth, too. When the ice goes i won't go on the water without a Wiggle Wart tied on. We rig them to suspend.

We don't get ice much but the first time we get a couple of warm days in February, it's on. When rapala bought storm and changed the wiggle warts in went out and bought every old style I could find.

SealBilly: Yellow perch are the first pan fish to spawn in our lakes, and do it right after ice out, with water temps in the high 30's/low 40's. They stage off points and drops and move onto old grass and wood to deposit eggs.
Big largemouth follow right behind. I have taken 6 pound+ fish in 2-3 feet with some ice still on the lake. The Storm Wiggle Wart works in 6-10 feet during this period, and is my "horizontal" presentation, along with a 3/8 oz jig.
This pattern holds until water temps hit mid 40's and the perch are done spawning. The perch then move out deep again and the bass follow. When water starts into the 50's bass start shallow again. The Wiggle Wart continues to work into late pre spawn.
Find the right spot during the perch spawn and limits of 5 pound fish are not unusual.

Always on the lookout for pre rapala thundersticks in rare color patterns that are trout catchers.Problem is I want them to use and others drive up the price cause they are collectors

Heaven't seen the Lake Clear Wabbler in stores for years and thought they were out of production and gone until this thread popped up. I looked on line and WALA! There they are.
First used them with my dad 1940's. Adirondack lakes. We trolled them behind a row boat with a foot long stringer behind them and a night crawler on a single hook. Caught some great trout with it. I'll be introducing my grandson to them this summer and tell him his great grandfather caught trout on this rig.

I used to throw Wee Rs when I was a kid. My favorite was the bone colored craw pattern shallow runners, now called a square bill.

About 30 years ago the sporting goods manager of the Wal-Mart was a neighbor and friend. He called one day and explained that he had to toss a "box" of bass plugs. They had been sent up when the store opened and none sold. He sent them back.
They came right back with a nasty note that they sell everywhere and to try again.
None sold.
They said to toss them in the crusher.
He removed the plugs from the boxes and crushed the boxes. He gave me the plugs... It was a dish pack sized box in the boxes! Hundreds of plugs!
I have been giving them away, especially to kids ever since.
If anyone has a kid send me a PM I will send them a half-dozen or so plugs to fill a few of those slots in their tackle boxes. Give me a general idea of what they want and I will send them some.
I remember well the incredible tackle box my father had when I was a kid! It was a great way to spend a bunch of time looking at all those cool old plugs.
Just do not use them much these days...

Just looked at my bookshelf and the molding on the top edge has over 30 old plugs hanging from it now... and they are the really good old ones that came (to me) without boxes...

Shed a tear or stock up on remaining inventory, Uncle Josh has quit making genuine pork rind baits. It was caused by the current marketing of younger, leaner hogs. The hide isn't as tough, and there isn't enough fat attached.
