Custom Mauser .243 built on a Mark-X action. I don’t have any paperwork to back this up, but here is what I was told about the rifle when I purchased it. Built by Dean Lincoln of Blanco, New Mexico as a gun show demo model to exhibit the options available on his custom built Mauser Action Rifles. The stock was made by Loren Diede from a selected piece of Fancy Circasia Walnut. The rifle was also bedded by Loren Diede. Features include: Apex Imperial Grade barrel, wrap around front sight, double set triggers, Niedner butt plate & grip cap, jeweled bolt & magazine follower, finger clasp style magazine release. Barrel length is 24 inches and the length of pull is 14 inches. The trigger combo is currently adjusted so the set trigger once set is a true “hair trigger”, far too light for hunting but quite fun at the range. I’ve shot about 40 rounds through the rifle since I got it, it did not appear to have been shot much if at all prior to that. The scope base is included. There is a little rust on the safety and bolt shroud and some marks in the blueing on the barrel along the side near the muzzle end and just behind the front sight, there is also some blueing wear on the floorplate. The photos do a poor job of capturing the detailed shaping on the rifle stock including scallops around the action and the front tip sculpting. The threads in the receiver for the front screw on the rear scope mount are screwed up, right now the rings are being held on with three screws.

Since these photos were taken the scope base was replaced with Talley lightweight rings.
