You derived the load from group shooting. Nothing wrong with that. This isn't the first time that a load that has shot good once and itdoesn't later.


Are you sure nothing has changed?


Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's tough.

Keep playing. Maybe you need to try different components. The rifle I was just working with would not shoot an A-Max but Scenars shot great..

Normal procedure is to shoot all the loads in the node to see which performs best...

Well the way i see it you hit that small target 3 times, which at 500 yds is pretty good shooting. Any elk, or moose would be in your freezer. LOL
Don't forget clean your rifle often while testing.

Never clean your rifle while testing. Really bad advice IME.


Clean the rife before testing, shoot a few to establish a zero and foul the bore.
