Thanks. Like just about everyone else I've heard of who's tried a 9.3, I find the cartridge totally satisfactory for just about all of my big game hunting. I've shot a variety of stuff with the .375 and the 9.3. So far I've not been able to discern a difference between the two with performance. The 9.3 kicks only a bit more than an '06, but is lighter and has more rounds than the .375. It's a win!

Here's my old 9.3X62 on a pre-64 M70. It has a 21" barrel (can't remember why), sits in a Brown Precision stock, and weighs a tad under eight pounds as you see it with Leupold 4X Compact aboard.

It gets your attention with 285s at over 2500 fps, and really lets you know with 320s at close to 2300, an experience several on this site have been subjected to. crazy

It's even more base when fired using this system.
