Well, since McConnell has already issued a statement asserting there will be no Senate confirmation hearings for a replacement during Obama's term, you can spend as much time as you like doubting it. You really have to wonder how much attention some people pay to politics with some of the posts on this. Ain't happening in any liberal's wildest dreams.
Senator Mike Lee (R) of the Senate Judiciary committee just tweeted "What is less than zero?? The chances of Obama successfully appointing a Supreme Court Justice to replace Scalia."

America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

Sen. Graham said that Reid's rules change left the door open for full on opposition to ANY obama nomination getting confirmed. Interviewed on FOX minutes ago.
So he is at least on the right page at the moment.

Obama won't get an appointment through the Senate before he vacates. This is exactly what Lindsey Gramnasty just told Fox news. BTW, Gramnasty was trashing Trump and Cruz and cheering on old Jeb as the best President to nominate a supreme, (just like his brother George gave us Roberts and Obongocare

A serious political chess match has just begun. It's fine that McConnell says we "should not" appoint a new justice until we have a new president. But don't doubt for a minute that the left don't have some moves up their sleeves. How will McConnell respond? His record is not good.

With the SC decisions that have gone in our favor in recent years, it's generally with a 5-4 vote.
Bob, it may not be doom and gloom, but losing even ONE vote isn't comforting. Nor is the prospect of a new appointee by Obama. He'll try.
