Don't know why it wouldn't be 13 3/8" like other 700's. Found that number in Remington catalogue from 1995.

Is that measured from the trigger to the end of the wood or end of recoil pad?

Hey thanks Mike. If you could would you measure yours from inside the curve of the trigger straight back and parallel to the top of the buttstock to the end of the wood please. Not sure if thats how LOP is measured but thats how I'm measuring mine.

13 3/8" from trigger to end of original pad. With Decelerator installed mine went to 13 3/4". I put a lace-on pad over that and now measure 14 1/2" from trigger to end of outside pad. (Not ever to end of wood on stock.)

I get 12 15/16" to end of walnut, 13 1/8" to end of black spacer, and 13 3/8" to end of stock recoil pad.

BTW, my 250 and 300 Savage classics measure the same. My 350 RemMag also comes to 13 3/8, but with thicker magnum recoil pad, so shorter wood.
