Ingwe, I thought you were sending that back to the Sunshine State.

In 1992 I dropped his son Gary a Note with an order for a Camp and trail knife. Found out Bo NEVER got rid of any correspondence, Gary looked me up and sent the knife in....you guessed it....two weeks.

BTW, thanks for not putting a Bubba Buddy on the Ingwe Special I have a leather cartridge slide but it's for a belt - no Bubba Buddy...unless you want me to put one on it. Actually, I just load four in the magazine and head out. That's about all I need for "perforatin' porkers" as Gee puts it.

as the time has neared,
what you all shooting your porkers with? Now that I'm flying, I'm down to only one choice, as Ready's firestick will occupy the other spot in the gun case. Unfortunately, I've got 3 rifles that currently need bloodying: * Marlin XL7: I'm working up a nice load with 165 TTSX's at around 2,800. * 700 Classic in .300 Savage: It likes the Steelhead 130 TSX load, but I just shot the best group of my life with it this morning, using Hornady 150 SP's at around 2,680. Either load is more than hog worthy. * Mauser 98 in 7x57: I bought it in STL last Summer when someone nonchalantly suggested I stop by Trail Creek Trade Company... It's more than serviceable with 175 RN's. Heck, it might even be Poobah-approved. Still, it's got iron sights, & I'm not sure how my eyes would do with it in low light. If I went according to time in the safe, the XL7 would go. But with the way that 700 Classic is shooting, it just may jump ahead in the batting order. FC

My 700 Classic in 35 Whelen will make bacon with the 250 Speer and Varget.

I can actually beat that. Around 2001 or so, I bought a Model 25 off the shelf from Randall. It was in their finished stock. Was I smart enough to keep it? No....
