Romney didn't take on Trump. Romney is just a RNC shill trying to do a hatchet job as directed by the Republican establishment. FWIW, there is no legal requirement that a candidate release their tax returns. They must release a financial statement, which Trump did months ago.

The word is that the power brokers have given Rubio until Tuesday. If he loses Florida, Romney is coming into the race in a last ditch attempt to stop Trump.

I had gotten word a couple of weeks ago that Romney could yet be a player in the race.
Both businessmen, both successful, one very honest the other...not so much. The reason Romney didn't run well? Too nice. What does that say about Trump?

Cruz finished third in a three man race...twice. Even I can see that this is a silly demand my Romney who's still irrelevant. I couldn't care less about Trump releasing his taxes. The issue is whether there is a bombshell vulnerability that will severely hamper his national electability. If there is, the voters are entitled to know now, before they make him their candidate. Not hard to figure out.....Romney is simply part of the Republican establishment who is out to disrupt Trump and Cruz for that matter.
Isn't it interesting that back in 2012, Romney did not release his tax returns until September, and yet he and the republican establishment demand that Trump release his tax info IN FEBUARY??.....The republican establishment can be just as hypocritical as the democraps, especially when they are trying to destroy the insurgency candidates that threaten ""their"" power.....
