I have taken about 10 million pictures in the last 10 years and developed one.

I finally decided to actively search out a decent printer. I suffered a bit of shock when I found what a good one who'd cost. I was torn between the epson and canon. I really wanted the epson......then 3 canon pixma pro 100 's hit the market in my area new in the box with 50 sheets of 13x19 canon paper for $150. I did it. ...I bought one.

I'm simply amazed at the quality of the print. I'm actually mad I didn't get one sooner. There is a bit of difference between my monitor and the finished print.....but it's still stunning.

As time progresses, please offer up any of the color tuning hints or issues. I toyed with getting a Canon for Cookie, but as a strict hobby type person, she was reluctant to take on color matching challenges.

Being a bit color challenged due to my mom's DNA, I'd not even think of taking that on.

Have a good one,

Wait until you have to buy ink. I can have an excellent lab process picture for a lot less. I just couldn't justify it, but I would love to have one. Have fun with it.
