Our pup Lucca is 4 months old and one smart dog.
Two weeks ago we were at a field trial area and she pointed a woodcock.
Thursday she spotted a red fox and took chase.
I called her back and the fox decided to come as well. The fox must have thought it was another fox I guess.
I yelled at the fox and finally leashed the dog not knowing what the fox may do.
We went the opposite direction.

I've had that reaction from coyotes when training my Pudelpointer. Makes the session more entertaining!
