Nice. What do you plan on using it for? I appreciate all the kind words...thank you!! I plan on using this rifle to hunt deer here in PA and WVA. Gonna zero it about an inch high at 100 yds....most shots will most likely be 150 yds or less.

Not really.....where I hunt here in PA and WVA is pretty heavily wooded and very thick...some places can't see much further than 100 yds!! Of course there are exceptions and it won't just get used here at home in PA................

Very nice rifle. Who was saying that rifles in synthetic stocks can't be "custom". Looks pretty snazzy to me. Probably a shooter too...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I wish more builders took the time to blend stocks to actions like this....it just adds detail and looks "finished".
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

Very nice build.
Hope you can spend many hours in a deer stand with it.
Nothing like a rifle with great workmanship to admire for hours while hunting.

Thanks again for all the kind words...the rifle shot extremely well today even with a brand new Swarovski Z6 that had a locked up erector right out of the box........just happened to have a Nightforce for back-up!!
Anyone else ever have a Swarovski that was a lemon outta the box??

Dude, swaro? They need to stick to spotters and binos, just like Zeiss. I hear ya......could not believe it!! Rifle was shooting high first 3 shots (pretty much 1 hole group)...made adjustment to lower impact point and shot another group...NADA!! Adjusted scope again, and shot another group...same impact point. Then I tried adjusting scope by several inches (lower), and shot another group...guess what...same impact point. I had one hell of a 9-shot group though!! Went home, installed a spare Nightforce I had....rifle now zeroed and shooting extremely well!! Got to call Swarovski on Monday.....totally disappointed in a $2000 scope...to say the least.

Send it back, then sell it to a GAP owner. Who talked you into that mess? Almost as bad as leupold.

Were the scope rings farmer tight? Not at all....I am about as anal as anyone on this board...the ring cap screws (Seekins rings) were torqued to 15in/lbs with my Borka torque wrench.

Nothing wrong with the scope.....let's just say it was operator error on my part and leave it at that.... Still using factory premium ammo......only tried 2 types so far...just got some more that I am going to try. The first two shot well...

Tell us about that Hawkins Precision follower...
Is it stainless? How is it feeding?
Could you post a picture of it?
