I've seen a load of 48.0 grains of imr 4350 and a 140 grain partition twice in two different articles. Could some with QL run it I would like to see the pressure for it.

I'm not in front of my copy of QuickLOAD right now, but a 6.5x55 with a 140g Partition and 48.0 of IMR 4350? Yikes!
That's more than Hodgdon's recommended max load for IMR 4831 and is just shy of their recommended max load for IMR 7828. And that's with a 140g Speer HotCor that's bound to produce less pressure than a Partition.
And I've personally found Hodgdon's loads to be a bit warm in my rifles at times. I don't think I'd touch a 140g Partition with 48.0g of IMR 4350, no matter what QuickLOAD says.

Terry Wieland discusses the load in a Rifle Magazine article from a few years ago: 48.0 grains of IMR 4350 and a 140 grain Partition in a 6.5x55. IIRC, the load was recommended by an old German gunsmith that befriended Terry, and he used in successfully.
Quite frankly, I don't know why it wouldn't work in a modern 6.5x55. If time allows, I plan on working-up to 48.0 in a M70 Fwt this summer.

That was one of the articles i read and I don't remember the other one but the load was used with good results. It just seems awful hot to me.

Don't have the numbers for that load but 47 grains of H4350 is at 60,000 psi. That load may be safe in a really long throated chamber but I would stop short of it.
The Nosler Max of 43 is in the 50 to 55,000 psi range.
