So I've got two rifles 375 H&H and a 416 Rigby. I've only shot these using iron sights. I'm not going to buy another scope but I have a light weight FX-2 2.5x, a VXiii 1.5x5, a M8 4x and a compact M8 4x sitting on my bench. Plus a Denver Redfield 2x7 5 star. I don't care for high power scopes.

What scope would you recommend if the ones on my bench for use on these rifles?

1.5 X 5 for the 375 ( I recently up'ed mine to a 2.5X8)
2.5 for the 416.

I have a 2.5 to 10 on my 375.

When I was using a .375 a lot, both here and in Namibia, I had a 1.5-6x32 Leupold mounted on it. Never wished for anything else. Now, I'm getting a .404 Jeffery and I will go with a 1-4x20 Leupold in QD rings. It will mostly be used with iron sights, though.
