Does anyone know what type of paint is used on the Kimber Montana stocks? I have a Wilcat Composite stock that I want to re-paint and I really like the solid color and the feel of the Montana stock.

Sherwin Williams Polane-T mod7rem, Duracoat is the duplicate in consumer size.

Which version, I have four Montana's of various shades of gray and texture? Same paint, applied differently (yes, I know yours is tongue in cheek).

I know Darren has repainted a couple Kimber stocks and I believe he was able to match the original color. He is also able to match the Kimber texture. He does awesome work!!

I've been through the exercise of picking a good gray, but I was looking for something a little less "blue" than the Kimber. I've settled on "Gray Wolf." http://www.houtsenterprises.net/dur_grays.htmlAnd I think OM has given good advice on having Darren do it if you're not up for the work.

Darren does excellent work. He also fitted the lightweight pad.
