Rider,
I never tried a primer with a hammer, but remember the little boxes of roll caps that went in our cap pistols? ............well not only did my ears ring for a while, but my butt stung for a while when my dad discovered the burned face on his favorite trim hammer. Uh, primers? Universal depriming dies work great on live primers.

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.
