Looking for suggestions on what to get for my .30 cal can. I want one to mitigate mirage while long distance shooting and protecting the can while hunting. No full auto mag dumps or anything like that. Thanks

Huntsman22 on here recommended Tab Gear to me and I've been very happy with it. It fits like a custom made condom. Seriously, I wondered for a bit if I was going to get it on...

I like the Rifles Only MAD covers. Others I would consider; Cole-Tac, TAB Gear, and Armageddon Gear.

Looking at ordering a TAB cover do you have to wait and measure your can like they suggest or can you just order off the manufactures specs? BTW, I have a Suppressed Armament Reaper MX in jail.

TN,
Even though the manufacturer specs should be spot on, I'd just wait until you have it in hand and measure it yourself. It only takes a week or two to get one made up. I think they custom make each one to your specs?

Call Dave at Mile High Shooting Supply at (877)871-9990 they stock both SAS Suppressors and TAB Gear.... he can hook you up with the correct one.

http://www.armageddongear.com/Suppressor-CoverJust pick your make and model when ordering. No measuring necessary. There is also a custom option of your model isn't listed.

I'm going with the TAB SAS2 cover. I'll just wait until I get my can to get an exact measurement since this is what TAB recommends.

I would be surprised if different cans of same make and model had more variance than the covers.

They don't which is why you can just order the cover based on your suppressor model from Armageddon Gear. They're also the most slip-proof covers available. I've launched several other-brand covers down range when they slipped forward into the muzzle blast ahead of the can.

Suppressors get HOT... fast. After a couple rounds the mirage off the muffler can be bad. Covering them keeps it from looking like you're shooting through a swimming pool.
