If Biden pulls in Elizabeth Warren on a winning ticket, the Dems lose a Senate seat as Gov. Baker can appoint a Republican replacement. Not so. In 2004 when Kerry was running for President the state legislature stripped Romney of his ability to appoint a replacement and changed it so a special election must be held. They were not going to let a Republican take a Mass senate seat. It is still by special election. Thanks for the correction, I thought they'd changed it back to appointment. I still don't see Warren settling for VP under idiot Biden, it would be the death of her hopes for running for Prez to be saddled with all the horrible decisions and things he would say and women he would fondle in front of cameras.

I'm not so sure Sanders in the Whitehouse isn't a bad idea, certainly better than Hillary. He is universally hated by both Democrats and Republicans. While I think his ideas are awful, he would never be able to get anything passed.

Bernie is counting on the FBI to save his campaign to derail Clinton. It looks more and more to me like a good plan.
Hillary will try to throw her delegates to Biden to stop Sanders. That is probably illegal, but just an inconvenient minor detail for Democrats. Then Warren rides in on her white horse, shouting “Hey, wait just a damn minute!”
One thing for sure, it will open the floodgates to try to drown Trump with his upcoming fraud court cases. Hillary had to hold off on those targets because Trump would counter-punch with her legal problems. Biden and Warren will not have that problem.
Biden's big problem is that he needs Warren to pull a lot of highly pissed far left Bernie supporters back into the party. And women for Clinton voters. That team may not have to worry about women and especially Hispanic women voting for Trump. The Donald is solving that problem for them. YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN RIGHT ABOUT ANYTHING.......

We can't have Hillary drop out. We need her hurt enough to be a bloody candidate but not so beaten up that she drops out. If she drops out and the DNC doesn't step in, every dumbass under 35 will be out in force voting for Sanders. If the DNC steps in, their pick someone who will bring life back into the race for them. Nope, as much as I would like to see Clinton be forced out, the best bet for beating the Democrats is for HER to show up at the starting line of the general election as a bloody corpse.

More complete horsechit from one who hasn't been right on politics yet. Hell, he was still crowing that Failin' Palin was going to run in '16 (right up until the first primaries) to "save us all". I had typed all that same stuff out, gave up, deleted it all. "Gees" was all I could come up with......hopeless.

The new GOP bumper sticker: “ In Trump We Trust.” I was sure as hell right about Trump going to court. His first of two California Federal lawsuits in California has now been scheduled for November 28. Trump's lawyers asked for February 2017 but the federal judge turned them down. Putting this off until after the election is loading the ammo train for the Democrats. The next hearing for the other California lawsuit is scheduled for July 18, the first day of the GOP convention. The judges for the New York state lawsuit have turned down all attempts to toss this case and pending trail dates are before them at this time. Trump also lost his case counter-suing for defamation. He has been ordered pay $800,000 to cover his attacker's attorneys' fees.

Actually you were kinda correct because they did tweak the process again when Ted Kennedy died and a replacement was needed for him. By then Deval Patrick(D)was governor and they talked about changing it back to the governor appoints the replacement. The outcry over the hypocrisy of what they were doing kept them from doing so but what they did was give the governor the authority to appoint a temporary replacement until a special election can be held. The temp guy can run for the seat if he wants to. So if Warren did step down Baker would appoint someone until a special election. If that scenario happened I doubt the dem's would retain the temporary appointment part.

So not sure Warren will happen. The Dems want the Senate back as much as they want the White House. Too true and they will have Chuck Schumer as their lead man, a formidable bastard if ever there was one. Ole Harry Reid ain't even a patch on Chuckie's azz. All Reid could ever do was stall. Schumer will get things done. Bad things.

Could be I'm wrong, but I believe, even more than her obvious insatiable craving for power and money, Hillary wants her name to go down in history as the first female POTUS.
I simply can not imagine her ever voluntarily choosing to just give up and walk away easily.
If she were to be forced to give up on her perceived 'destiny' it could be very costly for some as she always struck me as the type who would try to take as many as she could over the cliff with her.
