I take that first photo to mean that the AR pistola things are validated. Actually it goes back to 1979. Those are Firing Port Weapons. special built to fire from inside a closed up Bradley Fighting Vehicle. where the M-16 was to long to use inside and the Bbl to short to swing much of an arc outside the port. I Remember hearing about them at the time. I have never seen one before. The M4 has long rendered the Firing Port Weapon moot.

I've always loved your shots...but those Cheap Trick ones bring back memories. Back in college, a couple of friends and I went to a concert and ended in something like the third row. Both friends were female and one was blessed up top, and Nielsen decided to flick some picks at her blessings. I was excited for the free souvenirs, she was not so much. He was like a ninja with those things. I remember his mike stand was just studded with picks up and down. That reminds me I need to give her a call to see if she still has her picks.
