Police have not yet said why Mateen attacked the Pulse club. His father told MSNBC that the shooting was not about his son’s religion, but that his son became very angry after seeing two men kissing in Miami months ago. He said “we are apologizing for the whole incident.” Who believes that... They are more than happy to keep killing, and apologizing...

You can't legally carry in a bar so this was, once again, a target rich gun free zone. And not all gays are anti gun, ever hear of the Pink Pistols?
I must say that some of the responses on this thread are disgusting. Fifty of our fellow citizens are dead at the hands of a terrorist and all you can say is "well at least they were gay"! Appalling! How do you ever expect them to warm up to a more conservative way of thinking if that is the prevailing attitude towards them?

I think the news media can say whatever they want. But the homosexual community just got slapped in the face with the fact that Muslims want them dead.
Trump should shout it from the rooftops that Hillary is planning on flooding the nation with Muslims,...and that it's very possible that the homosexual community will be the first targeted by them.

From my perspective it could have been a lot worse. It's fortunate that he picked a gay bar rather than a family amusement park or some other place where these deaths would have been a real tragedy. Even the Muslims seem to be sick and tired of our feminine pick a gender culture. WTF?

FOX: The gunman was identified as Omar Mateen, Rep. Alan Grayson said during a Sunday morning press conference. Mateen was a U.S. citizen, Grayson said, though that was "not true of other family members of his." Mateen, 29, lived in Fort Pierce, Fla. He was born in New York to parents of Afghan origin and was a Muslim, Fox News confirmed.
A licensed security officer, Mateen also had a Statewide Firearms License, Fox News reported.
