Anyone try it? I picked up and have to say it is very smooth. Very nice with a little bit of spring water or ingwe style.

Are people allowed to drink it if they don't haul it up the sheer face of a mountain with hale and hearty companions who are of equal manliness?
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

This is your friend... http://www.barrelsonline.comDump some nasty old Jim Beam in one for 8 weeks, then try a sip. Smooth as can be and better than most bottled stuff. Don't believe me then try it yourself. A friend did this and brought some over. I simply was amazed.

But you don't understand. It's "mountain whiskey".... It's a marketing campaign that just happens to involve a distilled spirit.

Actually, my new favorite is Bulleit, pretty reasonable and excellent.

There's another brand I tried when I was in Dallas this past January. When I get home I will pass the name. A bit pricey but very smooth.

Are people allowed to drink it if they don't haul it up the sheer face of a mountain with hale and hearty companions who are of equal manliness? You have it a bit wrong. Real mountain whiskey comes out of your hale and hearty companion's pack after a long trek up the mountain-- after you've hidden it there.
