Curious what folks are doing for brass in this chambering? Necking down 300 WSM to make a false shoulder and fire forming?

David That's what I'm doing. 59.0grs IMR-4350 and something that weighs 140grs is very accurate and makes great brass.
When I die I hope I don't start voting democrat.

David Yep. WW .300WSM brass isn't that hard to find around here. It sure would be sweet if Lapua jumped on board one of the WSM's, though.

I tried necking down Winchester 300 WSM brass with a mid-range load and bullet hitting lands - to keep the base against the boltface. Wound up with cracked and split shoulders.
