Cool, good luck with your hunts.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Guys, don't hate on me, but I drew Steens deer AGAIN! With zero points... same as last year. This'll be three Steens hunts in 5 years I believe. To balance the karma, I got a crappy elk tag.... Ukiah spike only. Ugh. I need to try Roosevelts or something. Spike tags suck ass. Saw three bulls last year....... with a €!?£% spike tag..... it hurts.... Larry, we were going to hunt Steens for antelope this year but had to postpone it till next year..... save me a big one!
The CENTER will hold.

Well, strange things happen. I got on line and nothing but a Willamettee Unit. Checked my sons and he got nothing. We hunt on a ranch in the Heppner Unit and we couldn't even hit on a barely oversubscribed unit. Checked my son-in-laws next. Out of six applications, saw five unsuccessfuls. Well, what did he get---out of a total of 18 applications--2 successful. Well, I can tell you, when I checked the successful, I had to check and recheck and confirm. Yup, it was the Rocky Mountain Bighorn tag.

Pronghorn here, but it was a given with 20 pref points. I've pulled my application at the last minute in 2013, 14, and 15 due to our drought conditions.
Next year it might be the Wenaha for elk. Have enough points that it's a given as well.
Now if I could just score that sheep.

JeffO-
Stop putting in for spike tages if they suck so bad. Somebody else might actually want that tag.
