Why??
In a June 20 letter from the FBI to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office obtained by the Sentinel, the agency requests that law enforcement “immediately notify the FBI of any [records] requests your agency received” so “the FBI can seek to prevent disclosure through appropriate channels, as necessary.”
A spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office told the Sentinel that the FBI sent them the letter and “instructed us to forward it to anyone requesting records.”
In the letter, the FBI contended that releasing records would “adversely affect our ability to effectively investigate the shooting and bring the matter to resolution.”
The letter also claims that releasing records could jeopardize the safety of witnesses and first responders.
Paul Wysopal, a special agent in the FBI’s Tampa field office who signed the letter, refused the Sentinel’s request for comment.
Barbara Petersen, president of the First Amendment Foundation, told the Sentinel that the “FBI doesn’t have the authority to hijack Florida’s Constitution, which guarantees us a right of access to all non-exempt public records.”
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

That doesn't say that the FBI told the sheriff's office to refuse to fulfill records requests. It simply requested notice of anyone attempting to get records. It sounds like the FBI intends to go to federal court and get a federal injunction preventing disclosure by state and local authorities. I would not be surprised to learn that the sheriff's office would be glad to provide that information to the FBI.

Just more instructions from barack hussein, to FBI director Comey, telling him to cover up the truth. Same sort of instructions Comey got for the hillary email investigation. We should just disband the FBI, since it's nothing more than a political tool these days, not protecting America, but protecting those in power.

Yes. That appears to be the case. The police and FBI both said the shooting stopped at 2:30 but in truth there were callers into the sheriff for some time after that pleading for help. No help was sent for another 2.5 hours. the media believes this is what the FBI does not want revealed, even though it already is. Truly, there is not an un-corrupt soul in the government it would appear. Likely, any government. These are dark days that will only get darker.

Dear FBI,
Go F U C K Yourself.
Methinks that the FBI working on behalf of the Zero regime does not want to have conflicting information between their (whitwashing, sanitizing, disinformation etc) reports and the SD's reports (the truth based on evidence)floating around in the public and casting doubt on Gruppenfuhrer Lynch and the Zero regime.
