For those who've had experience with the Ruger BX 10/22 trigger, what are your feelings? I'm wanting a better trigger on my current 10/22 but not sure it's worth the two bills for a Kidd/Timney/Volquartsen unit. With current discounts I can get the BX for $6o. What's the consensus?

I'm very happy with the Tier 2 job on my 10-22.

I just dropped a BX trigger in my 10/22, this spring. Took the trigger pull from 7+lbs. to about 2 3/4 lbs. I'm very happy.

I experienced the same drop in pull that maddog did. Money well spent in my book.

They vary. When they first came out Cabela's had about a dozen on their display rack. It's pretty neat that the packaging lets you try them out - so I did.

I tried about 6 of the dozen there and a couple were superb, no creep, light pull and minimal over travel, and they went down from there. Nothing bad at all, mind you, but a couple had a tiny bit of creep before they broke. My tactical model 10/22 factory trigger is as good as the middle of the pack BX models I tried that day. If you can try a few before buying it might be worthwhile to spend a tad more in a store than buying one sight unseen over the internet.

Love mine.

Wouldn't spend more than what I did. If you want a pristine trigger get a different rimfire.

Thanks guys, I decided to go ahead and order one. Would like to do as Jim said and try a few, but being the cheap SOB that I am, decided to take a chance for <$60 delivered rather than drive two hours and pay more.
