Missed the speech live, after reading this thread and listening to the pundits, I looked it up to see what the fuss was about. I heard him congratulate trump, bash Barry and Hillary and their policies. I heard him throw out a lot of red meat. I heard him plead with the listeners to turn out in November and vote for the party. He was a warm up band, were you expecting balls bouncing off chin? Lot of boo's at the end as he quickly walked off. Cruz said Vote Republican. As far as I know there is only one Republican presidential candidate going to be listed on your ballots. But hell you guys are so smart, maybe most of us got it wrong. I listened to his entire speech (which was good by the way up until the end) and I never heard him say anything of the sort, but I could have missed it. What I heard him say was "vote your conscience". I supported Cruz from the beginning. Felt he had the best shot of winning in Nov. I didn't think Trump's approach would get him very far due to the world we live in today. I was wrong. Cruz is a fraud and he was exposed tonight. He is done.

If Cruz was as much of a "christian" as he claims to be, and his followers believe him to be, he'd have some humility and some degree of loyalty to his own pledge. He clearly has neither, and therefore is not what he claimed to be. I voted for the SOB in this state's primary, and he continually shows me why that was a mistake. I'll not support him again; nor will many others. Sean, I disagree about your "Christian comment" because I'm one and continually struggle with separating the right and the wrong and shunning the latter. It's WHY I am a Christian--I'm honest about human nature. As to Cruz, I'm disappointed; he think he committed an unforced error and it will come back to hurt him in his future political ambitions. The real surprise to me is Kasich; he has now defined a remarkable political career by small-minded childishness. Whatever offense these guys took from Trump during the primaries needs to be in the rear view mirror now to solidify Trumps momentum going into November. If nothing else, there is the Supreme Court to consider for the next thirty to forty years. We are on the brink of sliding into liberal fascism now.
