I need an inexpensive 1" mount to go on the rail of a Ruger AR-556. I want something cheap for a temporary expedient setup just to check out accuracy, etc.
If it all checks out OK, I'll go for a dedicated permanent scope and mount suitable for this rifle.
TIA for any suggestions.

Don't get the Millet $25 one at Walmart. I could never get mine to line up any where close to the center of the rifle. I tossed it.

Weaver makes one that is affordable also. It is a cantilever, you may end up keeping it.
