Looking for one to carry CCW. Perimeters: DA/SA could be 9MM, 40S&W or 10MM 10-14 rounds, slim profile, barrel 3.4-3.7 not plastic, capable of +P, and doesn't break the bank. May I hear the suggestions. Thank you for your time. P.S. something along the lines of the Taurus PT111-G2 Cheers NC

Uh, the Taurus PT111-G2 is plastic. You might want to rethink your requirements.

10-14 rounds would be a double stack magazine, therefore no slim profile. Eliminating the modern polymer framed options makes no sense with your given parameters.

1911, government model, 9 mm, Wilson combat 10 round magazine, Gives you 11 round capacity in a single stack. Or you could go with a commander model with full size Mags. Manufacture of your choice, I would recommend Jim milks, to build you a nice custom for about 4K :-) just joking.

Yep. CZ 75D PCR. It might be the best CCW pistol out there.

You would be better off with a Hi-Point, but SIG comes to mind if you like double-single action... also not many are buying 40's these days you can get a better deal on a .40.

Can't go wrong with the CZ 75c; slightly bigger with a 4.25" barrel is a Beretta 92 Compact.
If you can tolerate plastic, the Glock 19 is beyond reproach.
I don't own the CZ, though I really like it, but I do own the Beretta & the Glock & both are really superb guns.

Sig P229. Slimmer than you think... Great pistol, but NOT slim at all. Maybe you meant the Single-stack P239? If small and slim was the requirement, I'd consider a single-stack like a G43, S&W Shield, P239 ( a little larger) or Ruger LC9 series ( I really like Sig's P938 as a micro-nine). If a double-stack capacity is felt to be necessary, G19, G26, S&W M&P9c ot the aforementioned CZ are hard to beat. 'Plastic' is not a bad thing. Polymer is actually tougher than alloy in certain conditions. It took me a while to warm up to the polymer wonders after carrying my 1911s most of my life.

CZ Rami, smaller than the CZ75 compact and no plastic. It is basically a smaller CZ75. Mine is accurate and has not had FTF or FTE in over 500 rounds with all kinds of ammo and reloads.
