We just received our first shipment. Tons more are on the way. I tried to answer all the PM's from guys wanting the rifles, but I'm sure I lost some of them. Here's a link in case I left anybody out: https://shop.whittakerguns.com/product/6535022These will sell out fast, but more are coming soon.

It's fixed now. The typing didn't take on the description.

That looks handy - do they have a flush magazine available?

America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

Cool little guns. I like the Grendel and have been wanting an upper so chambered for some time.
I can't like the grip of the Hogue stocks though. Any other stock options out there if one were to buy a barreled action?
This would be a GREAT gun for a female or youngster IMO....

Would be very interested in this if it comes out with a 5 round mag or flush floor plate. No sense buying a deer gun I can't hunt with. Still intrigued.

Anyone have a approximate muzzle diameter on these? Wondering if I'd be limited to 1/2" muzzle threads on the sporter barrel

Recently got a 223. Liking the mini action length much more than I thought it'd matter. The Legacy site links to 5 round mags for only $52 MSRP! The mag release on mine takes a very light touch to release, otherwise no complaints on the fit, finish and function besides the portly handle which was expected. Does anyone know what the COAL that mag would accept? FWIW, the 223 mag looks like it'd go 2.3" Anyone have a approximate muzzle diameter on these? Wondering if I'd be limited to 1/2" muzzle threads on the sporter barrel FWIW, the 223 is .560" at the muzzle.

The Legacy catalog is a misprint, the Grendel and 7.62x39 rifles are 5 shot magazines only.
Sadly they do not have plans for a flush bottom metal (standard magazine), but they should.
The stocks look like a Hogue, but they are not. They are moulded plastic which is reasonably stable and does not twist as much as some other plastic stocks out there.
Boyds will soon be offering laminate stocks and I know of at least one AR15 type chassis that is available.
There are three barrel weights, the light sporter which is .560 at 20in, the standard sporter which is closer to .600 at 22in and the varmit which is about .700 at 20in.

Carl,
I'm assuming you can cut the LOP and add a pad back on? They don't make a youth stock yet. I see some work headed your way....!

The mag release on mine takes a very light touch to release, I cut off about half of the length of the mag release and rounded it so it wouldn't be so easy to catch on my clothes, or brush, etc. I also removed the recoil pad, snipped off those locating ribs, and then screwed on a piece of 1/8" Kydex. It removed some weight and reduced the LOP to suit me. I realize the Kydex is hard, but I'm up for the recoil from a 62 grain bullet.

SAS, YES! Dang - just couldn't make anything work trying to post on the Android phone. Took about a 1/2hour to post the pic above. Anyways, see how fat that plastic is? Sure - can definitely cut'em down. The factory pad is a sort of hollow shell design that's not grindable to use at the smaller size at the shorter length. So - could throw a flip-flop pad or grind-to-fit pad on there. Slim-n-paint; it's just a matter of time and $. LOL. It is a fairly labor intensive mod. Here's a few after pics.
