Spending time shooting a red ryder off the porch with the grand daughter. Just shooting and having fun now. When she gets a bit bigger then the avanti and some aiming.

That's great, having fun is what it's about! Flinging BBs at a thin aluminum pop/beer can gives a satisfying clang younguns really enjoy.

I used to put a teaspoon of flour in balloon before blowing up for the kids to shoot. They loved it. Just make it fun for them. That is what it is all about. Make their experience a great one. Good shooting

Spending time shooting a red ryder off the porch with the grand daughter. Just shooting and having fun now. When she gets a bit bigger then the avanti and some aiming. My 760 pump guns are great fun. One shoots straight as an arrow while the other REALLY throws a curve ball.

Be careful, this introduction of an air rifle to a child........ It happened to me and look how I turned out!
She may head to a foreign country and become a professional hunter leaving all civilized culture and proper social behaviours behind!

Be sure to use safety glasses.
Steel BBs ricochet very easily.
I know 2 people that lost an eye from a BB.
