.gov is in the business of funding bad behavior and bad choices.
Quite frankly a woman with kid(s) dont need a man around when .gov picks up the pieces.
The destruction of the family makes for a lot more socialism...and lets face it, the generation of gramps and grandma raising the kids is about to end. Mom will get more subsidy and Dad can have some more kids...that means more Fed dollars for daycares and pre-preschool programs.

Since when is being a single mom a badge of honor? Sometime around the mid seventies, I think. Now, there have always been a lot of single moms for one reason or another and they had a tough road to travel. Women who were widowed, divorced, or abandoned and had to raise children on their own are and always were, deserving of respect and credit for dealing with their circumstances. A woman who is a single mom because she likes the extra welfare money, not so much.
Today, there is no distiction. Today, we are to believe that women who become mothers NEVER do so intentionally, single or not. Even the lowest welfare sucking crack 'ho' has become an heroic figure. I think it is important to recognize, however, that the men who impregnate these women are no better and are, in many cases, even worse.
Should being a single mom necessarily be a badge of honor? Probably not but being the father of the child of a single mom isn't either. GD
