Question for you suppressor shooters. I ordered a .300 Blackout today. What suppressor should I get?

One with at least a .30 caliber hole through it.

You're (not your) welcome.

Are you only planning to run 30 cal stuff? Lots of guys like buying a 9mm suppressor so they can also use them on handguns .

All depends what you are looking for... I went with a larger titanium can rated for 300 WM for several reasons:

1) Titanium significantly lighter than steel
2) Bigger can (more volume) will generally be quieter perceived sound.
3) 300 WM rated means I can use one can on any of my 30 caliber and under center fire rifles (buy once, cry once...)

Ended up purchasing an AAC MK13-SD. Just got it from my Class 3 dealer a couple months ago. Still need to take it out and play...

New SiCo Hybrid and be done. It will go from .223 up to .458 and both rifle and handgun. Rated for .338 lapua as well. The numbers I've seen also look respectable for suppression. I ordered a TBAC Ultra 9 2 weeks before SiCo announced that. I was a little bummed.

I have two from Innovative Arms. The LDSP model is what I have, and very happy with it.

Titanium is worth it if you carry it much hunting. Also would have less change in POI when unsuppressed. I have two 7 inch cans... good for keeping the length down, great for the 300 BO subsonic. But I wish I had picked up a full length (9") can as they are quieter when shooting supersonic 308 etc. i have the SAS reapers.

In Your area I have used 'Wellburns weapons' or guns and ammo whatever he is calling his store located near Big 'r' (now Coastal in white city) . He will have a few in stock, also Fox firearms in GP is carrying suppressors now. I feel the need to trust someone who is holding my money/can for 9 months or whatever the duration of the non-sense is these days.

Whats your budget?
What guns do you plan on using it with?
Does it need to be direct thread? QD mounts? Both?

SilencerCo and Thunderbeast make great cans. I'd start there.

Surefire just released a direct thread can as well thats been getting a good bit of attention.

If I have to I will sell something to get a good one.

Ruger American

Threaded, I think at this time. Ignorance reigns right now.

Any plans for shooting it on an AR or other semi auto?

If not, go with the Harvester. Its a great can.

Presently I don't care for autos.
