Found a Montana 223,non threaded barrel. Anyone know twist rate? Rifle is new. Had a 7-08 once and it would not shoot. Any better now?

You gotta wrap the case up in duct tape so it fits more better.

If Travis had carried duct tape with him, he'd still be chewin' elk.

I tried that the tape worked ok on the case but wouldn't stay on the bullets at all.

I've had something like 17 MT's now, and while some are finicky, with a little patience and experimentation all of them shot something sub moa.

I mostly don't buy the "would not shoot" idea... what that often means is, "it wouldn't shoot what I wanted it to shoot"... or just as often the operator can't shoot a light rifle.

I think I might call my 'tucky Kimberly Montana. Sounds like a hot, slender stripper.
