I would like to see it 20 real games and no pre-season. A lot of guys here at work
tell me if you lengthen the NFL season then more players will get hurt. My answer,
increase the roster .... make it a 100 player team.

With their[NFL's] stance regarding the muslim qb, I'm about done with it.

F*** pro sports. What a rip off.

I say make it 20 games and make them play all 50 players like they do in little league. That would shake things up.

I'd like to see 20 games as well.

I would like to see the season shorten to about a handful of games. I don't watch them at all, and a shorter season would free up some air time for some programs worth watching.

I'm not boycotting the NFL because one franchise chooses to employ a soon-to-be-has-been.

Rush was talking about Kaepernick today and said that the Cowboys wanted to put a sticker on their helmets in memorial to the fallen police from the Dallas shootings and the NFL denied their request, but they're going to defend an overpaid muzzy USA hater.

I watch some games once in awhile, but am not overly enthused anymore. The whole NFL is anti-gun. I don't see how anybody could get worked up about it. The league was better when they played fourteen games. If anything, they should shorten the season.

With the profit sharing we will have 20 games (4 preseason + 16 regular season) because none of the owners and players want to lose any money. I guess the argument will be if we drop say 2 of the preseason games, how do they make up for the loss of 2 games. They could add 2 more teams to the playoff hunt and gain 2 games. You could also add 2 games to the regular season and have 18 games. Personally, I like it the way it is now. Starting earlier than September or ending in late January does not appeal to me.

Make the NFL more like a job. Play 5 games a week for...say 40 weeks a year.

Just be some more house flipping or cooking shows. Maybe some new Religious channels begging for money. Very few watchable shows now even when you have lots of stations. miles

Let's make it year 'round - 12 months, I like football. At some point we could see the water boy throwing passes to the guy that holds the Gatorade tray.

IIRC the NFL threw a hissy fit when NC declined to let men into women's and women into men's bathrooms. I'd like to see them and Target stores.... go down the financial drain. Actions should have direct consequences.

Haven't watched it for a couple of decades but if it keeps some of the posers and losers around here out of the woods in the winter I'm all for it.......

I never for one moment doubted it would be that way.

Football should start after Labor Day and end with the Super Bowl second Sunday in January.

Been my view since the players went on strike & the NFL raided the CFL and called up the unemployed to start the season back in the eighties...fugg a bunch of overpaid thugs who think they're special and can get away with just about any sort of misbehavior they choose to participate in...same/same with baseball. I'll watch the Superbowl and maybe the last game or two of the world series, but buy their hats/shirts/jackets??? Never...I used to go to a few A's games every year...fuggem...I don't miss their arrogance one bit.

I started boycotting the NFL when the likes of Bob Lilly, Roger Staubach, Larry Sconka, Butkus, Emmit Smith, etc were replaced by Deon Sanders, Deshawn, and all those made up names that took over the NFL.

What would be nice would be to limit the commercials to 100 per game. They nearly have an unwatchable product currently. Every stoppage results in at least 3 commercials and usually 5 or 6. ugh.

Why does everyone describe pro ball players as "overpaid?"

And why do people keep saying mean things about Jay Cutler?

Eliminate it entirely and I wouldn't miss it a bit. Haven't watched a pro football game since circa 1979.

Since the NFL gets paid by the gummint to "Honor the Troops", twenty games would let them make even more money off the sacrifice of others.

Maybe they could raise the salary caps!
