Had to go to Talley's on a 30-378. The windage adjustable Leupolds were literally being sheared off by recoil. Big scope on a heavy kicker.

Well I like talleys, I just bought a rail for my Blaser so I can use Talley rings! Blaser Rings are a bit pricy, I also have some warnes and those are very good too!

For a number of years now, I have used nothing but Warne rings. Used correctly, they are rugged, reliable and NEVER, EVER leave a mark on a scope. A while back, I sold one of my Conquests. It had been in and out of Warne rings at least a dozen times. Still, the tube could have passed for new.

I like the older Holder See Thru's, no need to use the adjustments on the scope, just bend the rings to zero the scope LOL! seriously though I think if you stay with any of the decent quality rings you will be good. I have a hard time believing that Leupold MK4 rings are actually any better than a set of Warne rings for 1/4 the price. FYI if you want warne rings for less money hunt down some Nikon rings as they're made by Warne.

My favorite is the Burris Signature Zee ring in in 1 in or 30 mm. The inserts are available in offset measurements to correct alignment issues or to provide a vertical advantage for the long range guys.

The Burris Extreme tactical base has a ridiculous, stupid name. But I use them anyway on several rifles because they have multiple cross slots for mounting options.

For those hating on the Weaver rings, Weaver has made rings with screws on both sides for more than forty years.
