I see it's one of the only other models offered in LH. Loops lie you can get them in .223 and 1 other caliber (forget which right now).

Anyhow, curious if anybody has one and what their experience has been. As much a tack driver as the 452?

I have four 527s, .17Hornet .204,.22 Hornet, .221 Fireball.

All shoot well, the .204 is the worst, and it is MOA most of the time.

I like them a lot.

I shoot the 452 and have had a couple 527s

All have been superb shooters and IMO the 452 is the best bang for the buck in the rimfire world and the 527 for 600$ is superior to other rifles in its price range.

Several 527s in .22H, .204R, .223 and several 452/3s in 17HM2, 17HMR, 22LR and 22WMR. Other than the 22WMR shooting OK, not great and the first .22H not feeding to my liking, they've been excellent rifles.

The aftermarket has grown a little bit for them too in regards to stocks, triggers, optics mounts.

Overall for the money, I think they're incredibly hard to beat and you don't find a lot of cheap plastic on them like other "economy" rifles.

Sounds like you guys are liking them just fine. In LH, they're only offered in .223 and .204, unless they can be ordered in other calibers. Not sure. Anybody gone that route?

I have a 527 American in .223 that I got for $400 OTD. It's a consistent better than 1" rifle with all factory loads.

And the beat goes on. Good to hear.

Don't really need a .204, but a .223 could be real handy and have plenty of what's needed to stoke it.

Bought a 452 LH 22LR as soon as I heard about them, serial # in the low 500's, been more than happy with it. It's been used mostly shooting whistle pigs. Did shoot a 3/8" 100 yard 3 shot group with it one afternoon just fooling around letting the LH 527 .223 cool down a bit. I forget what the 527 shot, but I am more than happy with it too.

Have a browning LH 22 Hornet that I have more than once almost sold to get a 527 Hornet.
Why they don't make one in LH is beyond me, they should sell well.

700LH, I hear ya. We are a suffering sub-group here.

Have you heard anything about CZ making anything lefty except the 452, 527, and the 527 LUX?

On the 527 are you able to shoot heavier bullets or does the mag box limit your ability. I would imagine 75 amax is gonna be too long. What about 75bthp and the likes?

Make sure you get one of the 1:9 twist barrels. If I remember correctly the earlier models were 1:12 and they won't shoot those big slugs.

I have a 527 M1 and it shoots almost anything around 1 MOA but with a 50 gr Vmax and 25.8 gr Benchmark it's good enough that I bought 5,000 bullets and a pound or two of Benchmark.

700LH and other lefties,
I just got off the phone with Jeff at CZ-USA and he confirmed what we've talked about above.

The only rifles currently available in a LH configuration is the 452 American, 452 LUX, 527 American, and the 527 LUX.

They will, however, build a one-up custom rifle for you. He didn't know price specifics, but said Kip at ext 319 was the man to talk to about that.

Thanks for the additional LH info local dirt. At one time they were going to offer a left hand 557 but it looks like that hasn't happened yet. Was hoping for one of those in 8x57 or 30-06.......

Yw, GG.. and I hear ya. Am guessing one of those would be a sweetheart.

The nice thing is CZ seems to listen to customers.. more than other mfg's like... Kimber.

Still ask for a LH Montana when I get the opportunity.

Own a lefty 527 in .223 and also one in .204 Ruger. My history with the .204 was just to sight it in with factory ammo. It is easily a sub MOA rifle. Have not shot the .223 yet.

Snowwolfe, Congrats on the .204.

And, I'm sure there are more lefties than I who'd be very interested in how the .223 shoots.
