I have been browsing through the color thread looking for a color similar to what I have in mind but I did not see it. A lot of the photos have been removed. I think I'm going to replace the stock on an LVSF, thinking of going along the lines of 50/50 Dark gray/Red (or a burgundy) or a 60/40 Brown/red (burgundy).
Has anyone ordered one with color patterns similar? A photo would help a ton

If your manhood can stand it, check out the McFlame. Ingwe has one. OTOH, you may not want to be like Ingwe... DF

No offense, but those both sound kind of awful to me, and I like swirls. Most I've seen where earth-tones and vibrant colors are mixed together wind up looking like granny's fruit cake.
Dark gray looks great with white or black and white. Had one.
Brown looks good as a McWoody, but that's about it.
Burgundy looks good with black or white. Had one of those too.
Now with even more aplomb

The three I have are McWoody. Those wild colors don't do much for me. Guess I'm on the same page as JPro... DF

Clark- thanks for the link. Helps a ton.

I had originally considered 50/50 black and dark gray. Superseal had a pic posted of that combo and I liked it a lot, I just couldn't visualize in my mind what the red and a dark gray would turn out looking like. I like the brighter colors as long as they aren't over the top. IE: yellow and turquoise. But can totally handle yellow and black,

This is what sparked my interests with the gray and the red. But I felt that the gray wasn't dark enough and there was too much of it.....and not enough red. Otherwise I like it a lot

That's nice, especially with the gray metal finish. Looks good.

Otherwise I like it a lot That's pointer's rifle. I had a stock just like it and it was because of that pict. Just be cautious of the darker gray and red are close in tone/shade. JMO, but the swirl patterns always look best with some contrast but you only have to please you.

I got cold feet. Couldn't throw the red into the mix.
Ended up 50/50 black:dark gray. I hope it turns out 1/2 has good as the pic superseal posted

Maybe one day ingwe. I'd like to put together a rifle just for the range at some point. Something too heavy to carry on the field.....I'd go a little wild then. Maybe not mcflame but something wild nonetheless.
