I'm a big fan of the .32-20. I have a Marlin 1894 in that caliber.
I went back to loading manuals from the 30's, through the 50's and found data that matched the old High Velocity loads that were meant for rifles, including Rolling Blocks, Low Walls,Winchester '92's, and Marlin 1894's.
Loading with IMR 4227, I have found loads for cast 115gr, 85gr and 100gr Hornady XTP HP meant for the .327.
Pushing them at 1700-1800fps is no sweat and they can be very, very accurate. While I haven't killed a bunch of critters with mine, Jeff (Rost495) has used his '92 has accounted for a bunch of pigs and deer. He is the one that got me looking at the Hornady bullets.
So, long story short, make it a .32-20.
