why not one of the new south carolina production guns? I think they are the best yet at least the early ones I looked at were haven't picked one up in quite a while in recent years.
the other ones I thought were good were the early years reintroduction of the classic models. I never though the older push fed winchesters were anything special quaility wise.

Is the McWoody Edge a painted on finish, or actually molded-in?
I thought all Edges had to be painted only.

Edges were paint only until recently.
McWoody is molded in.
The one I showed is the nicest McWoody pattern I've seen. I have two others, both std fill. They are nice, just not as fancy as this one. So, they do vary.
