We are basically opposites which in fact is a good thing.

Get along fine 95% of the time...
But damn is it hard to deal with during this latest political chitshow.
Should admit I'm fairly liberal on some issues but no way in hell support/vote for any of the Dems.
Redneck hippy so to speak.
America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

My wife was moderate when we met. She cried at the results of the last 2 presidential elections.

My wife hates Hillary and wanted to vote for Cruz as did I. We will both be voting for Trump! She get pissed at me for standing in my office at home and cussing at the television while watching the news. I don't give a [bleep]!

Funny thing is my wife went to U.C. Berkley and well you could say had drank the kool aid. But somehow after having kids she's now more conservative than I am on many issues.
I couldn't imagine being married to someone with different core values.
