I have one I picked up at Academy on sale/clearance for about $80. I think it is bulky and heavy. The illuminated reticle is great in the early morning and the evening. Gives a fine line on the lowest power. Originally bought it for a Henry 30-30. Too big/bulky for that. Ended up just putting it on a CVA muzzle loader. Works OK. For the price, I can't complain. More money?? I'd go with something else.

First off I will say I am a Leupold man. I picked up one of the 4-12 Kasaps with the illuminated reticles to put on an AR. My youngest daughter ended up wanting it on her 6 BR she deer hunts with.
Considering what it is and what they cost, I have been surprised by it. Mine actually seems like a decent scope. Its not a Leupold by no means. The clicks are kind of spongy and it is a little on the heavy side but the illuminated reticle is nice and we only turn on the knobs to zero it but so far it has held zero and she is busting deer with it. If I ran across another one like the one I have for a good price, I would probably pick up another one.

A reply for what? You need them to tell you send a broken scope in?
Now is the worst possible time to do it. If you need it for hunting, you may wanna use it without the illumination and mail it in after.
If not, I woulda already mailed it a week ago...
