Looking through the local want ads I see an ad for a Ruger 41mag. Has Belt, Holster, and some ammo. $600 307-733-9772.
That's all the info in the ad. That number is a Jackson Hole landline FWIW.

Im too poor right this minute. I've got a 357 and a 45 colt as well as various autoloaders. I don't need a 41. At least not right this minute lol.

Its one of the only 2 outdoors pistols I keep. The Witness 10mm, and the Mountain Gun 41mag. Somebody will scoop up that Ruger I'm sure. That's a GREAT deal.

Snake River,
To be a highly effective enabler, you should take lessons from Bob, the original 41 enabler.
Just kidding, grin

RJM is very good at this. Last few months, another S prefix Model 58 another 3screw ruger blackhawk it doesn't stop. I think of him every time for hardwiring my brain.

I missed Bob's visit this year. The programing has worn off and I actually traded off a model 657. Oh the horrors!
Since Bob allowed me to buy one of his mountain guns, I have had no use for and had not fired this 6 inch 657. And my 12 year old grand daughter was in dire need of a deer rifle.
Well I saw an add for a Ruger 77 mk II in 25-06 (one of my favorite rifles) in Boise. And the guy was willing to take a trade.
But there is absolutely zero chance of the Ti Tracker, Mountain Gun, or Marlin 1894 FG going anywhere.

...can't even go hunting for a few days without my "friends" flaming me...what has the world come to...
As to the OP's deal...unless we know exactly what is for sale, no way of knowing if it is a decent deal or not...
Dave...selling the 657/6" is not a major loss...you have the Ruger for hunting....
Ron...just stop buying those "odd ball" calibers like .45 Colt and .44 Special and you'll have more than enough money for the finer things in life...

Hi Bob, Good to see you are still kicking. Yes that is exactly what I figured. I was actually looking for a four inch when I bought the 657, thinking it would be affordable to shorten it, as I could not find anything in four inch locally. This fine little straight A sixth grade student has been asking her Daddy all summer to take her deer hunting. I figured she needed a rifle more than I needed a revolver which I did not use. Unfortunately her rifle is still at the shop getting the stock cut down, but she was able to get her deer with my 700 ADL in 6mm-284.

It seems I'm going to spend my morning on the phone going nowhere's fast, so while I'm waiting for some call backs I called about the 41 mag. I got an answering machine that said, in a woman's voice, "Walt's a little tied up right now; but when he figures out the knots he'll call you right back"
I needed a good chuckle this morning!

Trading the .41 for a mile wide smile on a little girls face is worth every dime....
