Ordered 1K rounds from Sportsman's Guide for just over $0.30/rd. and was finally able to shoot some five shot groups at 60 yards.
#1 AR misc parts build. 16" 1:7. Bushnell 1-4 FFP AR Optics. 4"-6" This rifle shoots 0.5"~0.75" at 100 yards with handloads or AE223GTV.
#2 Bushmaster ORC 16" 1:9. Bushnell 4.5-18 AR Optics 1" with an occasional random flyer.
#3 Savage 12 LRPV 1:7. 6-24 Vortex HS-T 0.75" with an occasional random flyer.

Most of Wolf Gold is made by Prvi-Partizan in Serbia and it's very good ammunition.

The wolf gold I've shot is made in Taiwan and is very decent ammo for the price.
She never made it past the bedroom door, what was she aiming for...? She's gone shootin..

I cannot help but think 2 inches at 100 from a chrome lined barrel using xm193 from federal, IMI, Winchester, PMC would be the norm, I would not buy wolf unless it was all that was available.

Y'all are both right sort of, it used to be made by PP but is now made in Taiwan according to a quick google search.
I've never shot any and see no need when I can buy IMI or other decent FMJ for a penny or two more.

I don't recall ever shooting any 5.56 FMJ factory ammo that will do much better than 1.5 MOA from any rifle. That includes Federal, Remington, Winchester and IMI.
Was just looking for the cheapest brass/copper ammo that would reliably function in an AR and still be semi-accurate. I gave it a passing grade and ordered several K more.

Kenoh2, seems it's a little too late but pmc bronze can be had for the same price as the wolf gold and in my experience edges out the wolf by a smidge in accuracy..

Are these 3 shot groups or 5 or maybe 10 shots?
I've never seen any FMJ load get close to MOA other than random 3 shot groups.

I've never seen any FMJ load get close to MOA other than random 3 shot groups. Neither have I...Not to say it has t been done, but the stag 6's which hung well in the 10 shot challenge will only do about 1.5 at best with the fmj array of ammo..

10 shots at 100 with decent xm193 I would think 2 to 2.5 inches as about right.

Here is a review of Wolf Gold by Molon Labe, a respected poster at AR15.com. If you look at the mean radius of his three 10 shot groups (.76") and compare it to the table a couple of posts below his first, you will see the only thing that shot better was Black Hills, with a mean radius of .42". Wolf Gold review Buy it or don't. It works fine for me. Just got a case today from Target Sports. They had the best price, $0.32 a round shipped.

Reading the link by Molon, I see his 10 shot average was 2.13" giving a mean radius of 30 shots of .76" this with a 20" match barrel.
The rest of the other m193 clones shown in the table were fired from a chrome lined 16" barrel.
The Wolf ammo showed decent results but you can't compare it to other m193 unless you fire it out of the same barrel.
It's still no where close to MOA accurate.

TWR, Your point's well taken. I don't think anyone expects M193 clones to be moa capable.

And I should apologize if it sounds like I'm picking on anyone, I just have truly never heard of MOA accurate M193 type ammo.
I don't care what anyone shoots, I shoot a lot of 2 MOA m193 ammo for practice, I would just like further clarification on groups so we all know where we are at.

I'll be heading out day after tomorrow to the range with my son and his new PSA 16" 1:7 twist nitride and my 20" 1:7.7 twist Krieger. We'll shoot some groups with the Wolf Gold and report back. 5 shot groups

I've tried a couple boxes of PMC Bronze a while back. It was OK but definitely not loaded as hot as Wolf Gold.
Wolf Gold from SG is $.304/rd shipped. (member price with free shipping code)

My perception on the PMC as well, not 5.56 NATO velocity, it all shot well however in the last case I bought. I am interested in the Nevada range report, but like many I don't expect a M193 clone to shoot better than 2 inches in a chrome lined M4 pattern barrel. I would expect some improvement in a decent nitrided barrel.

Why not just run the even cheaper steel case. It seems like you just want blasting ammo
