Suggestions for something to mount on the brush guard or from of roll bar. Prefer LED.
For better illumination for night driving. I don't need to spotlight deer at 5000 feet, or have 100 lights hanging off the SOB.
I'm sure there are plenty of $1000 light kits that work great, don't feel like spending that type of money either.

OK been thinking on this one.
Roll bar lights--to high and your going to hit trees branches with them. Brush guard lights-the best except the wires. Is brush going to catch the wires and rip them out?
So maybe something that can be mounted mid way, right in front of dash area on the exterior?

Thst would work great. Have a 40" mounted on the front roof ( even with roof, doesn't stick up higher) of my ranger.

I was reading through the Q&A on that. There are a number of answers indicating that they wired them direct to the battery without a fuse. DUMB!

Amazon, Just went through this last week. EYOURLIFE is the brand with the highest rating and the prices aren't bad either. I went with the 22 inch light bar for $38. Put them on 3 fourwheelers last week. Easy to install. Hope this helps. Eddie https://www.amazon.com/Eyourlife-in...keywords=led+light+for+eyourlife+20+inch

There's are a ton of the smaller 13-15" LED light bars now available at stores like Tractor Supplt, Fleet Farm, and the like. They'll outshine your headlights, and probably be more than you're looking for as far as what they light up.
They should run you about $80 with what you need to set them up.

These come in either spot or floods. I have 2 spots in front of my UTV and 1 flood on the back. The spots don't really reach out much farther than the OEM headlights but they sure do light it up. It's a white light instead of the yellow OEM's. AMAZON LIGHTS

JD XUV560 Excellent UTV you have. On my Bad Boy Cart (2wd, elec) I bought a simple 3 LED unit found in the marine section of Wal-Mart, about 35$. It has bright, white leds and also has red and blue leds, with a 3 switch selectable arrangement, all of it water tight. It's a clip-on type unit but I have it mounted permanent on my front rack. Uses AA batts. Unit measures about 4"x4" and 3" deep, or so and is gray color, anodized aluminum housing. Using the red leds, mostly, I have driven into and among hogs and deer before daylight going in and after dark coming out. If I'm in a hurry, I use the bright white leds. I never use the cart's headlights.

Did you buy a wiring kit to go with it? No we did not! I ran mine straight to the high beam light already on my wheeler since it will not be used anymore. Connected two wires and done. On the other two we bought wire, fuses and a toggle switch and ran them to the battery and mounted switch on the side of the light housing for the highbeam. Hope this helps Eddie

For most of these jobs, a wiring kit is a waste of money. Guys who do any wrenching at all will have some wire sitting around somewhere. All you need to add is a switch and a fuse if you can't tap into one somewhere. Most LED's will only require 18g wire but larger doesn't hurt a thing if that's what you have on hand.
