This was the kicker motor on my relative's boat, almost never used. Runs great. Best guess is mid 90s year but will check the manual to be sure. Very clean.

Located in ohio, obviously not wanting to ship. $450

Long shaft or short shaft?

I don't think think so, but my boat knowledge isn't deep.

Game fisher was the Sears motors, correct? Wonder who made them for Sears.
Need lots more info here

I think the questions for me would be

whether its a tiller handle or steering controls
come with a gas can?
shaft length is critical
running condition?
two stroke or four stroke?

Were several companies who owned the brand.

2 stroke tiller comes with can and is in good running condition.

What is the dimension from where the top of the boat's transom would be (the bearing surface of the motor mount) to the bottom of the skag (the bottom of the outboard which protects the prop from contact with the bottom of the lake)? I'm not sure but I think that dimension is 15" for a short shaft and 19" for a long shaft.

SOMBODY CORRECT ME HERE PLEASE.

The dimension is actually to the cavitation plate above the prop up to the clamp bracket where it sits on the transom

I doubt they made a long shafts in those

Short shafts are 15 in
Long shafts are 20 in

Found this on a boating forum:
"The distance that you measure on the outboard is from the inside of the transom clamp to the anti-ventilation plate. That is 20", +/-, on a long shaft outboard and 15", +/- on a short shaft.. "
