Joel we were at the same place the 24HCF hunt was last spring, but weren't confined to a small area by the rains. We got to hunt other ranches-low fence ( as if the pigs care) that Jody could only talk about this spring. We were covered up with pigs! And mostly in good light! My first evening sit got these two... One of which was 120 pounds, my smallest pig of the trip!

America needs to understand that our troops are not 'disposable'. Each represents a family; Fathers, Mothers, Sons, Daughters, Cousins, Uncles, Aunts... Our Citizens are our most valuable treasure; we waste far too many.

ingwe, great job... Looks like the old std. twist .22-250 does a fine job.. What did the pigs weight???? When we shot pigs to eat, nothing much over 100 pounds was killed.. But you may have been doing population control.. Nice work..

WCH...I got carried away...the smallest was 120 and they went up to 160...which was a stinky old boar that got "donated" Otherwise they are all sows and the meat smells fine...

Okay...I should explain...the pig hunt went into what we shall call " Sudden Death Overtime" and that spotted sow suffered the " Sudden Death" part.

Call me next trip as I am running out of elk and can use some meat.

Ed, as I told Joel, we were at Prickley Pear, and got to the ranches on the other side of the road, near the river. We were covered up in hogs! It was a great time!

I knew you were headed back to the Prickly Pear, but I'm tickled to see what happens when you aren't confined by that blasted mud. Lawson and I had a great time as it was, but I am really looking forward to making it down that way this March. I am hoping that George will find a way to make the trip this time. Gunner too. This place is really nice.
