Hey guys I have 2 actions both 700 ADL one LA on SA. 30-06 on the LA, and 308 on the SA.

What would you guys do custom wise, specifically caliber. One is going to my dad one is going to me.

We have

7rm
264 win
257 Bee
243 win
308
30-06
375 HH
450 marlin
45/70
300 wsm
300 win
325 wsm

I as considering 338/06 on the long action, and 260 rem on the short.

Thinking Brux or Hart Barrel and bansner for stocks

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.

The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

6/06 and 6mm creedmoor or 6.5-06 and 6.5 creedmoor.

Be hard not to do a 22-250 on the S/A tho, seeing you dont have a 22 centerfire

The L/A is a 0.473 or 0.532" bolt face?

If the mag BF, then .257 or 264. The Bee if you don't reload and the Win Mag if you do.

The short action to be Whitetail and the long action will be Whitetail on up.

Should have stated that we have multiple 223 and a few 22 250

we reload everything so that's not a problem

I'd do a 6x47L on the SA and a 280AI on the LA.

Stock em, scope em. Done. You have two of the best chambering there are for your use. They are common and popular for good reason. Damn, I am getting boring as I age.

Pretty close to my thoughts, though I'd opt for a 6.5 Creedmo0r in lieu of the .243. 8 Twist in the 6.5; 8.75 or 9 in the 280AI.

I never thought I'd grow up to be a grumpy old man, but I did, and I'm killin' it.
