This is a TRUE story and brings back memories. smile

When a buddy and I were hunting SW Miss. he killed a young buck very similar to these.

This is the same buddy that killed a 250 lb, 9 pt we named "RALPH".
After laughing at this "buck", we couldn't call it a spike, so we named him... CLETE ! ! grin

I have drawn blood this year, but nothing worthy of mention here.

I'm trying....my best effort so far has been a spike, but each side was at least 7" long, so that's FAR too large of a set of antlers. And it was a rather large-bodied deer.

Mr. DeGeorge seems to have gotten the formula down pat, and kudos for using a cannon for your kill. I am of the mind (what little I have) that there ought to be a category for the least amount of weight between deer and bullet, but that's because I will shoot a deer with a .45-70 and a one-ounce bullet.

Kudos also to those in the running. I see I have to be better at buying a good quality bribe.......and sending it to the judge instead of trying it out myself.

This all looks really legit but a couple pics look familiar...they aren't from last season, or the one before are they?

Not that I doubt your veracity, but the stakes are high, and I doubt your veracity....

Their and there were never used in my post.

You must remember two things 1) I am the spelling and grammar Nazi here. Not you and...

Similar year for me, though I've not really tried due to work. Another year and no dink. cry And I have a new bottle of Blantons JIC...

Looks like I couldn't compete with some real hum-dingers on here anyway. LOL.

I am a bit shocked that my ethics and morality have come in to question....but I guess it is completely understandable since I'm so damn good at this and follow all rules, procedure and protocol

Here is last seasons entry taken with muzzle loader, study the photos all very similar but also distinctively different and it is evident that these ARE two separate dinks

That "broke off flush" gives pause for suspicion. Some people will do anything to win the Dink-a-thon....including altering their trophy. I'm skeptical....

Bribes must increase exponentially to overcome skepticism.

Dan, you are still in the running, but be aware Patrick will beat you out if he enters his dink....

Is home brew suitable for the bribe?

I had some extra grapes at the farm and I went to doing a little fermentation experimentation;

It turned out to be something I call - Tienanmen Square.

Hold on now, it ain't over until it's over. I haven't seen a deer in 3 days, ever since gun season came in. So the first SOB that crosses my scope is going down, even if it's a dink.

Brian, these contests usually are done on Jan15. This year it will end about on the 9th...just because Im going to Texas to start collecting promised bribes.

Well, I let go of my promise. Last night, the only thing I saw weighed about 35 lbs., so I didn't shoot. Nothing this morning in the pouring rain. Headed out now for another try........in the pouring rain.
