1. I'm not sure 2. My guess is yes 3. I'd spend the extra $10-$14 and get the FCD

Does the seating die crimp or not? Yes, the seating die in my RGB kits is a crimping die unless you adjust it 1 full turn above contacting the shell holder. Their "dead-length seating die does not crimp.

I have not used Lee's RGB dies. Just wanted to say that the Factory Crimp die does work very nicely if your ever interested in one of those. I use it on a 300 Wby Mag so COL doesnt change in magazine from recoil, and to ensure neck/starting tension is as consistant as possible. I buy the "Ultimate Die" sets or Pace Setter and Collet sets when available for owned calibers. Then I neck size and crimp once fired brass. Works great. Just my humble and low budget shared info ;-)

Thank you...My set came from Midway yesterday and they say it does NOT crimp in the instructions. Ordered a LFC
